The Institute of the Oneness of Being

Hakimian is an academic and spiritual institute founded upon the vision of the Oneness of Being by the archmystic and philosopher Faizaan Hakim. It is at once a sanctuary, academy, and temple for the deep study, pursuit, and embodiment of the highest vision of God and Self.

About Me

I am Faizaan Hakim: a philosopher, mystic, poet, mathematician, and architect of the system of the Oneness of Being. My work unites the sacred sciences, deep philosophy, visionary mathematics, and lived spirituality into a single architectonic theory of everything: both a vision of truth and humanity, and self-realisation. I have devoted myself to understanding the utmost depths of Spirit and Consciousness, and pursuing the spiritual sciences. After many years spent in contemplative occlusion, I emerged to give voice unto the visionary spirit which had taken hold of me; and thus I founded Hakimian as the vessel for this work: a temple, sanctuary, academy, and society for the pursuit of consciousness in the deepest way. Here, I teach those called to the Great Work: the realisation, integration, and embodiment of God-Consciousness.

The Vision

Hakimian was born from the Vision of the Oneness of Being — the supreme and sole truth that God and Reality are One. From this single, inexhaustible axiom, we derive an entire architectonic: a complete, systematic integration of all sciences, arts, disciplines, philosophies, religions, and traditions into a unified framework of consciousness.

This is not mere theory, but a living system — an ontological map of reality and a path of realisation. It synthesises metaphysics and mysticism, mathematics and poetry, philosophy and embodied practice, to illuminate every dimension of the human being: Spirit, Mind, Body, and the whole Lifeworld.

Hakimian’s work is both universal and personal: it seeks the spiritual advancement of humankind, while guiding each individual to discover their unique role in the cosmic order. It is at once a school of wisdom, an institute of research, a sanctuary of spiritual practice, and a temple of conscious life. Here, we do the great work of synthesising the highest truths into a way of living — for the salvation of the soul and the transformation of the world.

Our Principles

Hakimian stands upon the following principles. You need not necessarily hold them all to work with us, but you must be in alignment with the sanctity of the overall vision.

The Ground of Being is the Absolute: that this is the Oneness of Being; that it is Infinite Consciousness, and Infinite Love; that this is what is meant by God.
That we are in our essential natures are one with the Ground of Being; therefore can man come into union with God; that this is what is meant by Spirit of God.
That Life is intrinsically meaningful and purposeful; and that the meaning of Life is to realise, integrate, and embody God-Consciousness; that this is what is meant by the Work of God.
That all Religions are part of one Primordial Tradition: that they all speak the same truth in different ways: that this truth is the Perennial Philosophy; that this is what is meant by the Way of God.
That we can realise union with God, and be dissolved in the Oneness of Being: that this is the essence of Enlightenment; and that this is what is meant by the Kingdom of God.
